Thing #12 – Embedding Video Stories…First Pass….

I spent quite some time this morning looking at video slideshows. Gosh! There are a plethora of options – bells, whistles, free/limited, pro/more extensive, duplications…. I appreciated Shelly’s referral to Larry Ferlazzo’s Blog.  He has a great entry – “Best Ways to Create Video Slideshows”

As of July 6th, Larry had added another tool – Slidestaxx -  I will check this out, too, to do my full ‘story’ in the next day or so.

In the meantime, I played around with One True Media, though felt very constrained by the free 30 second length. Half my time was spent cutting DOWN what I had loaded up, noticing only AFTERWARDS that there was such a strict limit.  For my purposes in my classroom, free, easy to use, and meaningful postable length will be the three essential criteria for any video storytelling tool…. Below is the photo montage that I created this morning, and which already is posted on my wiki – Firefly

Here is the my montage – “Imágenes predilectas” -
